A trustworthy source very close to Morrissey has revealed the following to Morrissey-solo:

Seattle "Paramount" has been added Thurs 22 Aug. Paramount have agreed to remove seating and make the night General Admission.

Portland venue for 23 Aug has been switched from "Crystal Ballroom" to "Roseland"

Also added are Las Vegas "House of Blues" on Fri 6 Sept and Sat 7 Sept.

I'm assuming this is from the Jaguares site. The original tour dates I received were:

Sept. 12 San Diego, CA - Open Air Theater
Sept. 13 Berkeley, CA - Greek Theater
Sept. 14 Anaheim, CA - Arrowhead Pond

I guess we'll find out soon enough what the correct dates are.

Update: 06/14 05:23 GMT: half-a-person posted in the comments section: "the San Diego Jaguares show will be on September 15, and tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, June 14 @ 10:00 AM."

Hello everyone. I have just started a website for Morrissey fans called Still Ill where fans of Morrissey & The Smiths can submit info and post their profile on the site. Since there are so many "club pages" popping up everywhere I thought it would be nice if there was one for us fans. Check out the site and post your profile!

* I recently interviewed the photographer Kevin Cummins about his book of Smiths photos and he was very good about the relationship between NME and Morrissey. I've posted a transcript of what he had to say on the site in the weblog section (www.howdoesitfeel.co.uk).

* Next Thursday is the second night of the club night. Our music policy is The Smiths to the The Supremes via B&S, The Go-Betweens, The Temptations, Felt, Simon & Garfunkel, etc, etc. It's on June 20th, at Buffalo Bars, underneath Famous Cock Tavern, outside Highbury & Islington tube, London, £3 in, 9pm-2am. Our guest DJ is Harvey Williams (of Field Mice and Trembling Blue Stars fame) and I'm sure he's going to play some amazing music. I'd like to do a competition, if we can, for your readers. The first five people to email me at [email protected] mentioning morrissey-solo.com can get in for free!

An anonymous person writes: On a very recent The Daily Show with Jon Stewart there were two Smiths references. The first came as he was talking about the "War on Drugs" that the US is fighting. He said, "There's a kid in the audience with a Smiths shirt saying, 'Uhhh, there's a drug war?'" with his best impersonation of a stoner. Later while discussing American college students, he described them as going "Nowhere Fast" as he said it he looked at the audience and smiled to himself.

Railed Daily also writes: I work nights and watch the Craig Kilborn show nearly every night, and lo and behold, one night they were playing "Reel Around The Fountain" as they went to a commercial. Can't remember the date or who was on the show that night because I was dumbstruck to hear the song! Did anyone else hear it???
