It's not so much that the old fans have lost their taste (though there's some lowered expectations for sure)- I think it's more a case that the new fans are tasteless.
On top of this, they're just lazy, poorly constructed and ironically patronizing.

Difficult to say which is the best, but WPINOYB is by far his worst album of the 21st century (and of his career).
