Just got this email from Ticketbastard:
Hi live event fan,
Your event is still on, but it's at a new time.
Morrissey
Orpheum Theatre
Thursday, December 7th at 7:30PM NEW TIME: 8:30PM
Your tickets are still good – see you there!
The presale price of the full digital album is only $5.00. Why so cheap? Brand new albums are rarely under $10. Is Moz trying to sell a ton and boost his first week sales figures? From a financial standpoint it doesn't seem to make much sense. The fans who would participate in a presale...
David:
I have been a member here since the 90's. Yes, the idea of getting rid of anonymous posting has been discussed in the past. However, things have changed and it's time to talk about it again. The post from Interesting Doug is totally on target. All the crap on the main page is...
This may not be news, but I hadn't seen it before. Morrissey posing beneath the sign for Morrissey Blvd somewhere in Boston.

I believe I have read that the standard US version of the CD does not include printed lyrics. Does anyone know if the deluxe version has them? That would be enough incentive to go to Bestbuy for the deluxe CD.
Thanks!
This came up as an ad on the site and I was wondering why it's so expensive (currently 87 GBP.) Is the first pressing that rare? Just curious....

Just FYI, if you had your tickets held at will call (the cheapest option) you may want to swing by the Wang sometime before Friday to pick up your tix. If you go in advance, they'll just swipe your card, print out the tickets and you'll be on your way. The box office told me that the night of...
The Bravery - celebrated neophyte band 'knows nothing' about The Smiths
Sound of 2005: The Bravery - BBC News
...The haircuts seem to be borrowed from The Smiths circa 1984, while the leather jackets indicate their association with the recent Manhattan rock scene of The Strokes...
I was pulling out a couple of Moz CDs (remember them?) and when I looked at the spine of the CD case I noticed that one said, "MORRISSEYSWORDS" (i.e. Morrissey's Words).
I'm sure I'm the last person on Earth to get this, but in case there is one other soul who didn't get the title, there it...
The Decemberists new live album contains their song "We Both Go Down Together" which is inspired in part by "Angel, Angel...." The song depicts a romantic double suicide. On the live CD, singer Colin Meloy sings the lines 'Angel, don't take your life/Some people have got no pride/They do not...
The current US Rolling Stone (100 greatest guitarists) has a lame foldout section with Christmas song parodies about musicians from Springsteen to Britney to Morrissey. It's all pretty gag-worthy, but here's the one for Morrissey.

I'm wondering about a couple of things relating to Sister I'm a Poet:
On Beethoven Was Deaf, why is the lyric about "see through everybody's clothes" cut off in the middle? It doesn't sound like he was being attacked by fans, like in Hulmerist, as he resumes the next line without any...
