Not seen anything about this. Coda Records are doing a pressing of The Smiths’ first German show.

Couldn’t agree more. I just got a vibe of awe from the crowd when he sung I Am Veronica or Bonfire of Teenagers. Everyone standing, at least the front half, all knew Knockabout World.
It stood out to me because previous gigs in recent years have either been heavy on new songs and brought the...
Fantastic night, was a couple of people behind the front barriers. Massive shout out to the really friendly and energetic mother and son who’d travelled down from Glasgow after seeing the main man on Sunday!
Cracking setlist, Moz was on excellent form, very chatty, crowd were ace and a great...
It was a bit of a role reversal I thought. The Smiths generation of fans standing at the front and the Blossoms generation on the balconies and towards the back!
I thought they were brilliant. I’m a big fan of Blossoms anyway, but I think these two gigs must be the hardest they’ve had to work live and they did themselves proud. Astley was a great frontman and put his own spin on the songs and reached some of the high notes surprisingly well. They also...
Greg Davies’ new comedy The Cleaner has a Morrissey reference in episode three. His character is having a heated debate about veganism, Morrissey is mentioned and he says “Meat is Murder” is a cracking song, but he doesn’t take either that or “f*** Tha Police” literally.
I was at the Newcastle gig of this tour and there was plenty of life in the audience. It dipped ever so slightly with some of the new material (I expect it does for most artists), but a brilliant night to remember.
I suspect the Birmingham one is the night where they consistently captured the...

Whatever you might make of his politics or his increasingly grumpy interventions into public life, there's no denying that during his time as...
What a strange post. Those that have said attended have mostly said it’s great. Some that went weren’t impressed, which is fair enough. Those that didn’t attend have had positive and negative opinions, whether that’s the new tracks or the setlist.
To cite Carlisle Baz’s post shows the agenda...
I don’t think the ending was terrible, as he’d said his thanks and goodbyes before launching into “Half A Person”. I understand what Benny’s saying, though, it did seem as though he was about to come back on and the music was building up. Not sure if the fight influenced the decision or if they...
Brilliant night. Loved the setlist and Moz was on fine form. The venue was almost packed and looked like everyone was having a great time.
I wasn’t keen on “Jim Jim Falls”, but looking forward to listening to it on the album. Moz gave a signed copy of the new album to a fan who’d travelled a...
There’s still another 35 minutes before the “film” begins, which has gone down like a lead balloon based on overbearing conversations from people asking when the support starts!
Exactly. Not a hard concept to grasp.
Edited my post to mention the curtains a few minutes ago, old chap. As long as it’s full of people sat/stood where tickets were available to purchase, it’s packed out.
Just got in and stood near the front. Plenty in already and quite a few people outside asking if others are selling tickets, so guessing it’ll be a packed out show! The top tier is covered, though, so it won’t quite be full capacity.
Nothing on the merch stalls caught my eye and I was quietly...
Got a standing ticket for Leeds this morning. I thought £51 was very reasonable; it was £75 for standing at Newcastle back in 2017.
Looking forward to it!
Well, indeed, that’s what I was saying; I don’t think I’m missing the point at all.
Morrissey generates sales and the shop not stocking his material will deprive them of sales. People vote with their wallet and go elsewhere. It’s only the shop at a loss.
