Updated info on new Studio Album via Wikipedia

See I feel that Tobias tends to add a level of drama to his guitar work thats more appealing than the bulk of Alain's work...with the exception of To Me You are a Work of Art, and Life is a Pigsty...I still think Farrell deserves a fair chance

Ok and yeah I see what you mean there Jaime in fact I agree with almost all of what you said...except the part on Mr. Tobias. I personally think that while some of his stylings are a bit predictable Jesse has been writing some really catchy stuff from a guitar perspective though truth be told I...

eh wikipedia is good for most non pop-culture topics...and I think if we as a fanbase check to validate these tracks together we could really make this a good page and have more to be excited about

Thats true but I have a strong hunch ODGWBF will make the album...that being said I really want Paris on there or at least as a b-side on the first single as its an amazing song. As to the tracks on that site I guess we shall see but I doubt that either No Room for Oscar or Please Dont Throw...

    Broken Hearted Morrissey songs

Its hard to gauge when I've been in a great relationship for quite some time now but I really could appreciate Life is a Pigsty for those moments.

    The irritating nature of b-sides

eh I dont mind some live b-sides like To Me You are A Work of Art was good live on ITFWAW was enjoyable...that being said I usually buy the singles without giving much care

    The irritating nature of b-sides

see the way I see it is that it mixes things up after the album and provides a steady stream of good tracks in between albums.

'That's How People Grow Up' - Zane Lowe Premiere...

You know despite the criticisms applied to this track I did some testing if you will by sampling this song with some non-Morrissey/ Casual Morrissey fans and by and large people really liked the track. So maybe its more doesnt please the hardcore base

'That's How People Grow Up' - Zane Lowe Premiere...

How are the lyrics a rehash of Is It Really So Strange? This is a song about seclusion if anything. And I really thought the lyric about being a "sunlit dream" was a really cool line.

'That's How People Grow Up' - Zane Lowe Premiere...

Honestly no most albums on that track are abysmal and forgettable while this track has a good message and hook...the only track on MIM that is good is Meat is Murder I cant count How Soon is Now because it wasnt originally on it. So I stand by this posistion

'That's How People Grow Up' - Zane Lowe Premiere...

no no I totally agree this is a really good song indeed in fact I find it more enjoyable than a lot of Smiths albums namely I'd rather listen to this 10 times in a row than the album Meat is Murder

I will see you in far-off places

As an American the only regrette I have about the line is a two parter a. that our foreign policy is so abysmal that that line is true and b. that he didnt use the live redo of "If George W. Bush doesnt kill you" :)

    Which Song and Why?

see I like the sort of grainy quality to the guitar riff and the vaguely synthesized quality to the vocals. I think it all gels together quite nicely

    Which Song and Why?

you're really missing out the production especially for Finn was really pretty good

    Which Song and Why?

Lets be real though is this debate a bit redundant when we have gotten to hear a sample of the recorded version....on that thought what did you all think?

Soccer a.m. that's how people grow up

Let it be said that this song translates great into a recorded track. The beat plays really well and Morrissey's vocals are really excellent. I'm rather impressed honestly.
