Oh, good sir! D: We disagree. Barbarism Begins At Home, Roy's Keen, Do Your Best And Don't Worry, Frankly Mr. Shankly, and The Youngest are all fantastic songs in my opinion.
Get Off The Stage and Papa Jack do but me a bit though. Slum Mums... I can't get past the opening scream.
The very question twists my mind into a knot, but I'll try...
The Smiths
- I Know It's Over
- Bigmouth Strikes Again
(Panic is setting in at this point because I want to include half their catalog and I feel sad for the ones that I'm going to leave out.)
- Pretty Girls Make Graves
- Last Night...
I would definitely do that, but I remember the last time we tried this... Remember all the sourpusses who bitched about it? I think there is a certain kind of Morrissey fan who will never be interested in giving him a gift like this.
... But I'll do it -- I promise. :)
Morrissey has a big heart. Simon Cowell is a total ass. Morrissey is gentle and usually kind. Simon Cowell is just foul. Morrissey wants the world to be a better place. Simon Cowell is one of the reasons this world isn't so great.
Oh, I don't like this thread at all.
You are forgiven, chum.
We never intended to make light of a tragedy. It's not in our nature. To us it was just another song title to be turned into something Christmasy.
I'm pretty confident that the mods are intelligent enough to see that it was a joke about a TITLE and not about DEATH, so I'm not really too worried right now. If you're this passionate about things you perceive as being uncaring, I really hope you're out there making a difference in the world...
