Re: San Francisco International Airport, part 2
What a dumb thing for Morrissey to say, especially after the fuss he puts up about his desire to release a loving tribute to Paris after the events of Nov 13. It is really beyond comprehension.

And furthermore, it's not as though "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" is out-of-print, hard-to-find, rare, or otherwise deleted. If the song is such a perfect tribute, any radio station that wishes to play it is certainly free to do so. And then, any listeners moved by the song can obtain...
And poor Boz getting dragged into this drama. You know he sent that email under direct orders of Morrissey.
Forget about a record contract anytime soon. That goes without saying.
They key statement here is "Any other artist would be number 1 with this song RIGHT NOW."
Moz just wants to top the charts, even if it takes the blood of 130 terrorism victims to get there.
Re: Universal deny blocking Morrissey Paris tribute release, call Morrissey's accusations "hurtful and wrong"
Please let us know when your spaceship is scheduled to return to earth.
Here is a pattern I've noticed over the past few years:
1. Morrissey releases a "Statement from Morrissey" on TTY that on first (second, third, fourth) read seem outlandish, impossible, ridiculous, one-sided, malicious, juvenile, and/or completely f***ed up.
2. Within a few days someone...
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Not sure what to make of this statement. Truly hoping my read of it being a cheap cash-in are all wrong.
But why the need to mention the 12,000 fans? Again. It all seems to support the overall Company Line over the past few months.
I'm a he. And in my post I wrote "At least in theory - I know there are copies out there." Having bought the album upon release, I haven't made a habit of checking on it's general worldwide availability now that it's been deleted from the Harvest/Capital catalog.
I'm glad you're keeping up...
Can the good people of Chile procure WPINOYB if they wanted to, after watching this? Serious question.
I'm just not following the logic of continuing to flog an 18 month-old album that cannot be bought. At least in theory - I know there are copies out there.
I am convinced that at least 75% of the cancellations over the years were a result of little more than a case of the sniffles. The stuff the rest of us (not to mention most other bands/singers) just tough out and get on with the things we have to do.
"A severe flu has spread from the opening...
"although given her 78% pork girth it could take nine wielding axemen and at least six daylight hours to finish her off."
As much as I can appreciate the clever wording of this insult, I do believe it represents yet another low for Morrissey's with his recent public outbursts.
