This is the original artist‘s hand-drawn mechanics/proof for the iconic Smiths single “Girlfriend in a Coma”. This item came originally from Geoff Travis (founder/owner of Rough Trade - The Smiths‘ label).

As you can see, the original design differs a bit from the final one, showing erasures for the last minute changes of the font from pinkish (Pantone 507c) to black. This also shows the original alternate design for the placement for the band‘s name.
