LoF just got this through via email, tell me is it true that he's the best selling act in N.Z.?

Kevin comes from a musical family, his cousin is Cush from The Men They

another cousin is Chris Hook front man of The Temperance Seven.
His first band was Paris Valentinoes with Johnny Marr and Andy Rourke of
The Smiths.

Although Kevin is one of the most famous faces on British Television,
in other territories he is known for his music, in fact he is the best
selling act in ...New Zealand.

Hi Grim,

Sorry for the tardy reply. I'm on holiday. Curly played quite a few gigs throughout the country, including one a Sky City in Auckland, which I think was sold out. His album has been selling quite well and remembering you don't half to shift half a million units to get to number one in this country. Coro st is still either the most watched programme in NZ or second after the news. Kevin has toured here quite a lot before. Last year he was over here on some promo work with his on screen partner "Emma" phoew, wouldn't have minded meeting her. I'll pick up a top twenty countdown chart when I get back up to Auckland. However I would say that kevin could have had the number one album in NZ for a week.

Yeah, sad lot aren't we?
