Question about signatures

How do you include a post (or part of one) as your signature? I've seen many other users do it, but I've never known how to, and it would be nice to know for future reference.

you can just quote the person, and then copy and paste that into your siggy.

I've got another clueless question.

When you edit your signature, there is a box for text and pictures, however below that there is another section where you can have a 'signature picture'. Can anyone let me know how I can use a photo uploaded from my computer AND text in my signature?
