No the holiday IS pagan. As with all festivals the loony christians stuck theirs on top. xmas was a winter festival to pray for spring.
Easter was a pervy old fest for fertility e.t.c. check out the may pole thing -- phallic or what??????

I know i should know more about ancient times, but what the heck sort of god did the early druids/english persons worship? All you hear about are Pagans, but it's not like Greek mythology where everyone talks about Zeus and the rest. They obviously worshipped something, but what was it?
