Life is a Pigsty is not "too long". It continues to build, but beyond that, the length of the piece is one of the critical elements. You have to hear it long enough to get into it, it's that sort of repetitive groove. I think that why so many people hear a sort of "disco potential" to Pigsty. It has that strange sounding rhythm that seems more like a drum machine or a sample than it does live drums, and it has a very heavy groove. I would personally love to hear the remix.
I think you got me wrong on this. It's exactly this first "groovy" part that I like. What I don't like is the last three or four minutes, when the whole pace of the song is changing.
