Last week I met a really nice lady at my job wearing a You are the Quarry tour shirt. We struck up a conversation on how great the last years tour was, and how I went to all of the Wiltern shows and so on. She told me she was happy to meet anyone else that is a fan and we said our goodbyes. Now she came in today and she came to me very happy and cheerful. I thought she was going to ask if I was going to the Convention on Sunday, but to my suprise it was much more bigger. She told me how her very good friend works at the LA Philharmonic and he also works at the Hollywood Bowl. Anyways she told him how great it would be to have Moz play the bowl and with a full Orchestra no less. Well guess what it has happened. Both sides have been talking, they reached a deal. Morrissey finally agreed on a price to play and he asked for there to be a DVD to be made for it. They had a date by the Fall but Moz decided to do a tour in Europe. So it will happen, Moz just has to agree on a date. I was flipping out when I heard this. Please, don't think this is bull. I doubt the nice woman would lie about something like this. If its true, I never thought any show would surpass the Manchester show but I think we have a suitor.

I was at the Billy Idol show the other day in LA, and saw Billy Duffy (Cult Guitarist).

I have always liked Billy Duffy, and was always interested in when he and Moz played in the Ed Banger and the Nosebleeds.

I asked Billy about it, and he just laughed and laughed.
"You're the first in a long time to bring that bit up. Yeah, we played together, but that was back when we were both punky teenagers."
"Do you ever see him in LA?" I asked
"Funny thing is, I have bumped into him twice. Once at Tower Records up on Sunset - he was looking in the Morrissey section."
"And another time at Mr. Chows."

I then asked about the Cult and he said RIP.
