There's a new photo of Morrissey and Jed Weitzman (Sanctuary Management) posted on true-to-you. It's dated Rome, December 2005.

Morrissey is still to Rome. Tuesday 13 Dec. Moz has been sighted and photographed in the "Circolo degli Artisti" Club at the concert of the Italian singer Max Gazzè. See the photo of Moz with Fabio Luzzetti (Dj of Radio Citta' Futura).

There are also some rumors about a concert in Rome on 8/3/2006 at the "Tendastrisce" theatre . This news came from an insider of "TOUR DE FORCE Srl" an italian gig promoter.

It was long overdue, but Zoom Entertainment, a British Karaoke label has put out a Smiths & Moz only karaoke disc. Lots of hits are here and the rather obscure "Pregnant for the Last Time" is thrown in as well.

Every month, Blender magazine does a segment called "My Music: Our Favorite Stars' Favorite Records." The Jan/Feb 2006 issue features picks by actress, Portia de Rossi (Ally McBeal, Arrested Development). Listed as "The album that makes depression fun [for her]!" is Morrissey's Bona Drag.

Portia explains, "What I love about Morrissey is that his lyrics are just unbelievable. He puts so much humor into them, and I don't how he does it. 'Why do you come here and why do you hang around?' You smile at the depths of depression and isolation and anxiety he feels. His songs are so pretty, but he's singing about the ugliest things. He manages to make it sound like, 'Oh well, that's just the way it is.' I love the theatrics of it all."

In the new XBOX360 racing game "Project Gotham Racing 3" you find Morrissey "I Like You" on the soundtrack.

Andy Rourke was given his chance to express his view on his Manchester v Cancer gig. Rourke who was featured on ITV Northern news programme 'Granada Tonight', said " We all know cancer is an evergrowing problem, and my manager and a close friend were diagnosed with cancer and it suddenly made me think, well what can I do to raise more awareness and money?, do a concert of course'.

There was also a mention of Andy Rourke's background, The Smiths, Rourke said he was ' delighted that himself and Johnny Marr had come together' but ' there was no chance of a Smiths reunion'.

Rourke was seen wearing a long black duffle coat, tinted brown glasses, and expressed a charming attitude towards every aspect of the cancer awareness.

I just spotted a quick blurb on rumoured Coachella acts for 2006, and Morrissey is among the handful of artists mentioned. It makes sense when you consider that he'll have just released his album a few weeks prior to the event; he'll need to get out and promote that puppy.
