I know: They suck, they're awful, I'm a wanker for even mentioning them. Not gonna keep me from seeing them. Not gonna keep you from living in your parent's basement.

It's not just the American's, they sold out in England in 5 minutes.
Have fun, they just played at the Borgota in AC and got rave reviews.

They did indeed sell out in no time aa all here. But the Brits are very good at attending gigs of old bands with an attitude dripping with irony (don't ask).
Groups of office workers all over London would say,
"Hey! duran duran are playing. Let's go and sing all those old songs of theirs and have a laugh."
The words 'genius' or 'awesome' or even 'talented' wouldn't pass anyone lips all night. Trust me on this one.
A bevvy session in the pub beforehand, then a singalong trip down memory lane to when they were all in school. Bringing back memories of when they were young and daft. As we all are when we're young.
That's not to say I'm one of them , though. My flight lands in Chicago in ten hours.

Hummer or Handgun?

But at $60 a pop and waking up early Saturday morning to purchase tickets for a trip down memory lane? I will have to trust you on this one.
Guess who is going to be in the kitchen Thanksgiving cooking for about 20? Time to get the oven mit out just in case.
