I agree, an extremely defensive city; so many have their guard up and their hardcore persona firmly cemented into place! But perhaps i ask too much of this concrete metropolis. What to do--begin filling the streets with gladiolas?

Yes, I'm sure there are many of us, as Roseland and the Beacon could not have been packed to the rafters only w/folks from out of town. But being ashamed of Morrissey is like being ashamed of . . . the vulnerability of your very own soul, perhaps?
