Although I am now considering heading to the Niagra gig in a few months to through some hot dogs onto the stage.

While I am here..why does he have Boz wearing a dress now? I have a lot of respect for Boz and i think he's a great musician and it must have been difficult to stick by Moz for so long..it just seems disrespectful and makes a joke out of the whole band with these clown suits he has them wearing these days. Whats the point?

I know a lot of people hate the identical shirts and Boz dressing in drag, but personally I look forward to what the shirts are going to say. As for Boz, he wouldn't do if he didn't want to. Morrissey is not making him do anything. It's just good fun - why make it so serious? I think it says something about you, or anyone else, if they complain about Boz in drag. Think about it.

Also, throwing hot dogs on stage will only cause people to hate you because you will be the reason Morrissey walks off stage to never return again. Not to mention what it says about you as a person...once again. It's comment like yours that put the "w" in "solo".

I can understand you're angry about his dismissal of Canada. It would upset me, too. But you live close enough to see him play in the US. It could be worse, you know. But he has his reasons. It's okay to question them, but if you know anything about Morrissey you should know you'll never get a full answer. It's as he says, "Let them come to you - just like I do." In this case, however, don't hold your breath.

I'm not sure what comments you are responding to. You seem upset that the Palestinian population is growing. What is happening to the Palestinian people is apartheid. I have friends whose job is to escort Palestinian kids to schools and observe the check points. The Israeli army are brutal, they have destroyed the lives of these innocent people by changing the border lines to hem people into smaller areas and prevent them from reaching agricultural land, they throw people out of their homes so they can occupy them in order to store armaments and use them as look out points, they manhandle the people and arrest them without charge. What about 'Al Nakbah'. At least bring some balance to your argument. Morrissey is an innocent abroad when it comes to these things, he should visit the west bank and talk to the people.

I'm upset that the so-called "refugee" population is growing. Something that can not happen according to the definition of a refugee. You can't pass the refugee status to your children and you can't be third or fourth generation refugee.
Again, there's no Palestinian people, as I've explained, and there is certainly no apartheid. You simply either don't know what this term is or you know and repeat it to distort the truth. There is no segregation, not in Israel (where 1.5 million Arabs live) and not in the West Bank, where both Jews and Arabs live. The Arabs started another war in 1967, which they also lost and lost control of the West Bank in the process. They again started two Intifadas and adopted terrorism and suicide bombings, during peace negotiations, as a negotiation tactics. So I have no sympathy to their plight. They can leave to Jordan, which is another country that didn't exist until 1946 and in which the majority population is Palestinian. They want to have 3 states not only one - Jordan, Palestine and Israel. They want to perpetuate their situation, until Israel is destroyed. The issue is not resolved, because they don't want it resolved. The truth of the matter is the world still hates the Jews and that is the only reason this little feud is exaggerated beyond reason and remains in the spotlight, while millions die in wars in Africa, for instance. The balance and perspective should be made with Ruanda, Darfur and Syria, but you can always blame the Jews for these as well.

Simply a great comment, nothing to be added. Well done ! The "Palestinian" cause is the biggest HOAX in modern history. The only reason why these so called Palestinians are in misery is only because they never got any rights in the arab countries to which they escaped to due to the fear of war. It's not Israel's fault, Jordan is the land of the Palestinians.

He has become mortally bankrupt.

Suffer Palestinian Children.

Re: Article: Morrissey getting the key to the city of Tel-Aviv on Channel 2 News Isra

There's no "People of Palestine". They have no distinct language, culture or heritage, they are simply Arabs. My grandparents came here from Nazi Germany and were also called "Palestinians".
Palestine wasn't a country, but a territory which was under a British mandate. A partition plan was made by the UN, which the Arabs rejected and started a war, which they lost. Germany lost the Sudetenland and half of the now Polish territories after losing the 2nd World War and was partitioned and occupied for 50 years by the US and Soviets. That's what happens to those who start a war and lose. All the Germans were forcefully removed and thrown out of the Sudetenland and Polish territories, but here in Israel we have 1.5 million or more Arab citizens, which should have been theoretically thrown out as well.
If at all the West Bank should be given to Jordan, which briefly occupied it before the war.
The Palestinians are "suffering" because they time after time were offered an independent state and rejected the offer and chose violence. They simply want the State of Israel destroyed, that's more important to them than having independence. More Israelis died in wars and terrorist attacks on civilians in the last 60 years, than Palestinians under the nonexistent "occupation". You only need to look at what goes on in Libya, Syria and Egypt to see how well off the Arabs living in Israel and the West Bank are, enjoying health, prosperity and modernization. There were perhaps half a million Arabs in the West Bank after the war, now there are over a couple of millions, if they're dying in such an alarming rate, how did they manage to quadruple? and why don't the 20 odd Arab states that occupy half a continent don't allow them in? and how can they still be refugees 60 years on? it's the only place in the world where refugee status is passed along throw the generations. Madness, that's what it is.

You sound like Wolf Blitzer and the rest of Zionist elite. Creer en las mentiras y pierden credibilidad!

Re: Article: Morrissey getting the key to the city of Tel-Aviv on Channel 2 News Isra

I'll never have the courage to talk about other country's businesses (while I'm obviously don't have too much idea about what's REALLY going on there) with the hate and determination you have to Israel.
Did you know that in the last 8 years one million people that live in the south of Israel are under rockets attacks from Gaza?
Did you know that even through military operations in Gaza, the IDF informes the local people before bombing? But many times they have to stay in their houses, because the Palestinians terrorists make them stay in order to use them as a human shield! And then Palestinians get killed, and then you see on your lovely CNN that Israel killing Palestinians for fun.
Very convenient.

Is that the best comment you can come up with ? Very typical of the radical lefties who never answer to the point when someone actually says the truth about the "Palestinians".

Is it meant as an insult? If I sound like that, it doesn't mean I'm wrong.
My family and I were living here in the relevant periods, while I assume you get your information from the media.

Why did Morrissey get the keys of the city? what did he do for it? just play there? Am I missing something? (no irony)

Horrid sense of dressing by both of them though. Also I would think that this type of cerimony would be quite formal and not done in a corridor or something. It all seems so amateur and really not planned. Sort of embarrassing for both, especially for M.

Also his mannerisms are getting more and more feminine nowadays did anyone notice?

Congratulations M

I asked myself the same thing. I think it might help the mayor to get the World Mayor award? I was genuinely happy for Morrissey when he presented it to the cameras so proudly, but asking myself those questions, too, it became slightly strange.

For a while I thought that I'd prefer to meet Morrissey off stage nowadays and not so much in concert anymore. But having seen the images of the ceremony I thought that he is moving extremely homosexual again. This is not feminine mannerism but homosexual mannerism. Sorry for bursting the bubble. It becomes most noticable if you see women behave this way, because then you see how artificial it is. I wonder why it is currently so extreme again? People can be homosexual as much as they wish, it is just that I think that the world currently has more pressing problems. And not being homosexual myself I am not interested in spending too much time with anybody who is pushing gender stereotypes onto others. There are still an awful lot of women, many more than there are homosexuals in this world, struggling to get a job apart from prostitution that helps them to support themselves.

It is meant as a symbolic token of appreciation from the city, for being a frequent visitor (where others sometimes ban) and for speaking favorably about the city round the world. It is weird that no other city has given him this honor, surely Manchester owes him a great deal. Just goes to show.

Slight contradiction there. Well done, champ.

I thought I would separate your statements to get their full impact by reading them as stand alone comments. I have only one response.

What a coincidence, Iona Mink! I did a Google image search yesterday for pictures of Benny Hill and I saw that gif! Have you noticed the similarity between Benny Hill and Derek Branning from Eastenders? It occurred to me the other night that they looked alike, That's why I went on to do a Google image search of Benny Hill.

:)

Are you being punished? Lost the remote? Television only receives one channel? Why are you watching Eastenders?
