Well I saw them live last night. Nah. The front man sucked. The band was ALRIGHT at most. They lack the attitude, if you will.

Hmmm...I think I will stick with the opinions expressed below regarding TCM...

Sweet and tender hooligans are way better. Then Sons and Heirs then this jotos then this Charming band.

You are crazy!! I have seen both many times (Hooligans only at conventions, I wouldn't willing go to see them) and the hooligans pale in comparison to These Charming Men...Props to Ray for finding them, he always throws a good Moz Convention.

...and yet they acknowledge the Mozfather. What part of NY are you in? I'd love to take part in a Morrissey night (just saying)

I have a monthly DJ night in Brooklyn called SUBCULTURED. The second Saturday of every month (April falls on Saturday the 11th).

I always play a few Smiths and Moz singles throughout the night, but I wouldn't come close to calling it a Smiths night.

It's all under-the-radar stuff from youth subculture past and present. Classic punk, soul, garage, psychobilly, girl group, mod, etc..
