Hip And Aware

I never got an an answer to my question a few weeks ago:

Does anyone know what song is sampled in the intro to "I've Changed My Plea To Guilty"?

The original (or a version of it) was used in the film, "Girl, Interrupted". It was playing in the bedroom of the charectar Daisy, & served as the soundtrack to a key scene.

the bit in the Morrissey song goes: "Why... do these eyes of mine, cry for you?"

My girlfriend mentioned that it could be Patsy Kline, but I'm not sure if that would be the original or a remake... & I still don't know the title!

Jobriath?

Post, re-revisited

Your question bores me. The answer made me want to yawn to death. What a boring bunch you both are.

Cheers boys and girls.

I don't think it's Jobriath.

> Jobriath?

I've only heard Jobriath at a party, so I wasn't paying too much attention to the music, but he sounded like glam rock with a little less "rock" than "glam." That sample at the beginning of "I've Changed My Plea to Guilty" is very different from what I heard. Also, Jobriath is male--although he might dispute that. :)

If you REALLY want to know Hip and Aware, try calling EMI directly. Someone there will be able to direct you to the appropriate department where you can write to have someone answer your question.

If you do this, please post the answer on the board. I'd like to know.
