"It's really touching but if you don't come on the stage then we can play better"
That's what Morrissey said that night. With what happend in Liverpool and getting the heckler thrown out in Hamburg I think we better be on our best behaviour Monday night and send our love towards the stage.
That concert in the point was a cracker.I could have sworn he was crying the second time he played there is a light that never goes out,the only down side for me was I caught Morrisseys shirt but was quickly punched in the throat which made me loose my grip and I never saw the shirt again.
Re: Morrissey abuse on this tour...
Unfortunately these kind of things have been happening for years. When The Smiths played the savoy in Cork a there was a few punks up the front that were spitting at Morrissey. Also some idiot threw a pint (in a plastic glass) at him in Killarney a couple of...
Maybe he had a similar experience to Morrisseyfan08 with Ryan air and had to leave most of his clothes in the airport where he boarded his flight to Dublin.
Here's a live version in New York in 2000.

Just saw I was beaten to it after I posted..oh well I'll never learn
"Phlegm lapels for the last time"
That line never fails to makes me laugh,i always associate with a mother holding a baby that has just barfed up some phlegm on her jacket..
Alain's a fantastic musican, the music on his MySpace page sounds great.
I was at his last concert with Morrissey and he seemed to really into it.
It's a shame he's not touring with Moz anymore but at least he's still writing for him so maybe someday..
It's one of my favourites on the album.I love the middle part when Morrissey sings in falsetto I think it makes it come across as a very honest and touching song.
