Right, firstly, I'll warn you I'm no expert, but after watching the video on the BBC website I think I've had a reasonable go at working out Boz's bit on guitar.
It needs capo at fourth fret, so all chords are relative to that, e.g Am is the sound of a C#m etc.
Intro is:
Am D (I aren't happy with the D, but it sounds okay) X 4
F E X 4
Could this be an arm around my waste...
Am D X2
It's been so...
F E X2
Chorus
After All these years...
C E Am C/D
C E F E
Middle 8/ Outro
F G E (Try a little switch to E7 on the E, it just adds to it)
(Think First of the gang to die strumming pattern- and play the G barred, it sounds better and is slightly easier IMO)
So I think that's the basic bits to it, I haven't ever really worked anything like this out before, so I'm pretty pleased with this effort, even though I hope and expect that some of the guitar "veterans" will give it a tweak and add anything I've missed out.
Have fun rocking away to the end bit, I must admit I have been.
Hope this is of some use to somebody, don't be too harsh, I'm new to this!
