Found these as I was thumbing through the NME's 40th anniversary edition. No, I haven't got anything better to do!
Enjoy people!

Oh the talent that Morrissey had on display, even back then, during 'those' days.

Superb postings! Am I right in thinking you are a northern england type of person Bluenose?

I wondered when I'd ever see these clips after hearing about them for years. Thanks for taking the time to scan and post.

Thanks Bluenose. I can't believe they print the author's home address. What if someone doesn't like what you wrote.

Wow, thanks! I'd read the first, but the rest were all new to me. Wonderful stuff!

splattered walls & a kick in the balls

Just like Mr. Improper, you get a kick in the balls as you are walking out the front door of your house.

Ask him all about it.

He uses the phrase 'kick-ass' and likes Jefferson Airplane! But of course, he's older now and he's a clever swine.

Great stuff Bluenose. A Very interesting document of a particular passage in Moz time. Things liek that will be in the biographry forever.

Strange to think of Morrissey sitting in Kings Road adn constructing these little notes that meant so much to him, from his Man bedroom.

His quill firmly in his fist.

yep cheers Bluey,
see you at the pre S&G tiffin, we are planning the meet at Larry's Bar, (is it the bulls head or black bull or summat?) out of Picc main entrance (the new one on Fairfield street - but turn right & across at the lights that pub there) 8p.m.

Star and Garter next Friday

Yep, the real name is The Bull's Head, but I know you call it 'Larry's Bar'. I'll see you in there. Make sure Ruffian doesn't have a vindaloo beforehand. That upstairs room is lacking in ventilation as it is!

Anyome else from here going to the S&G?

I am a Brummie living in Manchester. Or were you asking me if I "go" for Northern English blokes?

Oh blimey no! It's not. it's quite small upsatirs, but in a good way. Like Patrick says, "keep it small, tight and sweaty". You'll love it Ruff. You're a dark, seedy pub kind of guy!

As late as that?

Get a grip Ruff. You can't call a KORMA a curry. Unless you're a girl like Bluenose.
