Such ridiculous bullshit. There are plenty of real artists out there with lots of things to say. You might not find them in the top 40, but who goes there looking for profundity? Nick Cave is a prime example. So are David Eugene Edwards, Jerome Reuter and Conor Oberst. Not to mention the poets who flourish on the North American alternative country scene, such as Cody Jinks and Benjamin Tod.

Morrissey’s problems are himself and his horrific artistic decline, paired with his unbreakable self-destructive streak. This is why he can’t get a record deal. He’s not being silenced, nor is any other artist. There are plenty of artists out there speaking their mind, playing to reasonably big crowds. He should man up, own up and if he really believes in his yet-to-be released work, he should release it himself.

I am truly a Michael Jackson sympathizer myself. He was a deeply eccentric, very weird, very gullible black millionaire (billionaire at some point, I guess), sure. But I find it hard to believe he was a pedophile. It doesn’t add up. Especially not Robson’s and Safechuck’s allegations.

Well, no he’s not a proven pedophile. If anything, he was proven innocent in a court of law in June 2005. That’s a fact, of which there aren’t many. And he might not have appeared black, but that’s how he saw himself and what he referred to himself as.
