You gotta hear Falling Down! I just can't believe how strong her voice was and it's like a mix of Cocteau Twins and The Jesus and Mary Chain- her favourite bands. Her voice just hit me like that!

I have to say it's better than i expected.
It's from her new album of Tom Waits covers and i actually quite like it, probably also due to the fact it's quite a downbeat affair which i tend to like. I reckon it could've sounded quite at home on the 'lost in translation' soundtrack too.
I also have a thing for banjos on songs too, perhaps it's the hillbilly in me.

I like this quite a bit, though I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of her doing a Waits cover album. I'm certainly curious to hear it all, and if this is any indication I think I'll like it. Her vocal delivery is surprising and quite nice.
