I really wish he'd stop with the eyeroll-inducing "PLACE YOURSELF AMONG THEM" emotional appeals. He's capable of putting forward a strong argument without them, so I'm not sure why he feels the need.
The slaughter of seals in Canada is a sorry tale of ecological vandalism by humans:

But if you're going to boycott Canada, it's hard to see how a visit to Japan was justified:
http://globalnews.ca/news/1096243/s...egins-in-japans-taiji-cove-despite-criticism/
"Animal rights activists say the annual dolphin slaughter in Japan’s Taiji cove is the largest cull they’ve witnessed. Japan defends the hunt as a part of its culture, saying it’s no different than other customs such as Canada’s seal hunt."
I've no problem with celebrities using fame as a platform, but in the same article above is a link to a completely bizarre rant by Yoko Ono. Most people in Japan and Canada probably dismiss both Morrissey and Ono as barmpots:
https://plus.google.com/+YokoOno/posts/UWJeK4WMgmS
Japan: whales, dolphins and Fukushima
Canada: seals and Alberta Tar Sands: what's the difference?
The planet is already post-apocalyptic. The sooner every species is wiped out except humans the better, then they'll be left to survey their wonderful 'civilisation' with no one else to slaughter but themselves.
Yes, it was stated it was finished a couple of weeks ago.Wel.. he's in L.A., then the album can be finished.
Upon first reading Logic teacher gives a B+.
A bit off topic, but there is a rumour swirling that Morrissey will be doing a cover of this song on his upcoming tour.

He's boycotting Canada, but seems to like playing concerts in cities (sorry, small towns) that border huge Canadian population centres. Both Niagara Falls and Buffalo are small population centers, yet they're only an hour from Toronto, a city sprawl of 6,800,000. He has done the same with concert dates in "seemingly" remote towns in Vermont (an hour from Montreal, with millions of fans), or Washington State, just 20 minutes from Vancouver, B.C. See, Moz is a businessman, not a real activist - his money and fame come first. He launches an attack on Canada, weeks before his album release (AGAIN), picks on the poor Canadians, refuses to play in their country, but hosts concerts in shitty little border towns, knowing full well all those concerts will be seen by Canadian fans. He's an asshole, and a hypocrite. He has played Turkey, which has NO animals rights, he plays loads of other nations worse than Canada for animal-rights violations, yet picks on Canada because he knows he can make his money and still stand his shitty ground, all at once. As for his applauding China, the "sub-species", well... his self-serving nature apparently knows no bounds.... A complete idiot, that man.

A rumour swirling in your own bedroom?
Yet, Morrissey will write a song and pledge is love for Istanbul, yet the Turkish government is known for its human rights violations.
