Re: The More That Little Girl Ignores Moz, The Closer He Gets!!

This was supposed to be Mozzer's Losing My Religion. The song and the video to make him break through BIG, especially State-Side. Now then, the video was directed by someone that directed none of the other videos compiled on Oye Esteban. My guess, is that they actually paid someone some real money. As you know, Tim Broad was working for a rented room in Whalley Range, and 5 Pounds Sterling a day, from which he bought several cans of Spam, and some bottles of Lucozade Energy Drink.

The hanging lights looked cool. The entire video was an excercise in pure vanity, the lights, the gigantic pixel posters of Moz, the self-referencing gestures that the song was totally about himself, his Id, Ego, Superego, etc., or his good angel, bad angel, one on each shoulder, if you like. His many personalities, etc. Read Freud, because I'm not going to.

The shattered bulb looked cool.

it was to me!

Sallow also has this connotation (a meaning in addition to or apart from the thing explicitly name or described by the word) of sickly, but the dictionaries online are shite!

Re: The More That Little Girl Ignores Moz, The Closer He Gets!!

it looked cool, ah, the symbolism.

Thank you for your educated explanations.

By the way, were there any videos made for the other singles
off Vauxhall?

Re: Sallow on my neck

so don't use them

I know what is a connotation, thank you.

I checked a traditional dictionary and it says 'yellowish and unhealthy'
so I reckon it's something resembling vomit.

Re: The More That Little Girl Ignores Moz, The Closer He Gets!!

They should have done a video for "Now My Heart Is Full" given its catchy-ness. Now then, I dunno about other Vauxhall videos.

Nonesoever has been his usual dashing self.

The Forgotten Man has been POPSICLE.

Thanks,

I knew it was you.
Practically no one else is interested in our discussions.

You've demonstrated your vast knowledge of Smithsdom/Mozdom or whatever.

I learned a few things, thanks.

I Think I'm Gonna Hurl!!

Vomit:

barf, bring up, cack, cascade, cast, cat, disgorge, heave, puke, shoot, sick (up), spew, spit up, throw up, upchuck, gag, regurgitate, retch, keck, eject, expel, blow one's lunch, holler New York, lose one's cookies

"for whether you stay or you stray
an in-built filth it catches up with you
and as it comes around to your flat
at 3:47am it wakes you up and vomits all over your
There is A Light That Never Goes Out Bathroom mat."

Right, and you said the video for TLOTFIP was "sickening."

So, anyway, I will go get some coffee now.

We got through 2 whole songs today.

The Last of the Famous...

&

The More You Ignore Me...

Please stayed tuned for:

I Know Very Well How I Got My Name

&

Oh Well, I'll Never Learn

>>>>>>Those 2 should be a real doosies/doozies to figure out!!

Re: Oh Well, I'll Never Learn

I love this song.

"Chapter one again
Here I go again
I found a fountain of youth
And I fell in
How could I ever win ?"

but no hidden message I presume.

it can be the lyrics to the new REM single (for their Best Of collection) - "It's been a bad day, please don't take a picture" which is "The End of The World" in a new suit. Get off the stage already!

Well, I'm off, see you around.
