Mojo Cribs review - Homage to Meat is Murder

I bought Mojo this month for an article on the Housemartins, but came across a review for the new cribs album... that's scattered with Smiths references... not only the Meat is Murder cartoon, but also the title and an interview with the Professor.

I like Johnny's swing at a little PR hype where he describes the Cribs having "the brains of the Buzzcocks, the guts of Nirvana, and the fizz of the Ramones."

I love the Ramones but I don't recall them having any fizz. That's OK. I feel I know a little more about the Cribs. Thanks Johnny.

I didn't know Johnny did ear piercing.
