Rachmaninoff's "The Isle of the Dead" (this symphonic poem always starts my day); AFI's "Sing The Sorrow"; Kent's "Hagnesta Hill"; Placebo's "Sleeping With Ghosts."

Tori Amos (whom I'm seeing tonight in Toronto!!) - Choirgirl Hotel

Erm...that's about all I've listened to today.

> Tori Amos ( whom I'm seeing tonight in Toronto!! )

Ace!!!!

Autechre: Tri Repetae ++ & Four Tet: Rounds

Although the music that they play says nothing to me about my life. But, then, if it did, that'd probably mean I was one of those robots on the "Picasso" assembly line in the Renault ads. Or maybe an advanced washing machine

Saw her in 1994. She was awesome

Lead singer of Dog's Eye View opened for her. He blew. He actually stopped playing and bitched at the audience. But she was awesome. Breathtaking.

I'm so excited about this show because Ben Folds is opening up for her. I absolutely adore him and I've never seen him live. This will be my 4th time seeing Tori. She never ceases to amaze me. So talented! I saw her November 1994 (can't remember who opened for her), October 2001 (Rufus Wainwright opened. yay!!),and November 2002 (Howie Day who was absolutely amazing!)

I ended up meeting her last November and I got her to sign a cd for me. She's a sweetheart.

I'm almost embarassed to say this...

..but today it's Fiona Apple's Tidal. I really like it. Her lyrics are unexpected and different. I skip "Criminal," though. But the rest is pretty great. Especially "Sullen Girl."

Oh yeah -- she's quite hideous, isn't she? I'd kill to look like her. She's beautiful!

Actually, if you can contort yourself just right, I think you can! My Marilyn purse has 3 different sections. I'm sure we can fit you in somewhere.

new Super Furry Animals, Phantom Power
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
and
Joe Jackson -look sharp

Now see. Criminal is a killer song.

"I've been a bad, bad girl. I've been careless with a delicate man."

Doesn't get much more wicked than that.

I keep meaning to buy the CD. I understand she was 17 or 18 when she wrote most of the songs. I got your Brittney right here [grabs crotch firmly].
