R.E.M. RECORD STORE DAY SINGLES ANNOUNCED
Record Store Day is coming this April 16 and R.E.M. will have not one but three seven-inch singles in individual gatefold sleeves available at participating independent record stores. The 45-rpm discs include Überlin, Mine Smell Like Honey, and Oh My Heart. All live B-sides are previously unreleased.

Disc 1. “Mine Smell Like Honey”/ “Supernatural Superserious” (live in Raleigh, NC)
Disc 2. “Oh My Heart”/ “Harborcoat” (live in Riga, Latvia)
Disc 3. “Überlin”/ “What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?” (live in Oslo, Norway)

Only 2 days away from the album in shops (here in Holland though).. And I may assume that everyone here is going to buy the cd itself!? So much nicer than mp3, better quality, 'holding a fysical (master)piece of art in your hands', supporting the band. And here at the Mediamarkt the prize will be 10 euro's, 15 max. At cdwow.com it's something like 12 euro's including shipping.
But offcourse, i've listened to the albumstream last night and was thrilled by it

Do you know if the live-in-studio versions will appear on any cd (singles)??
Or is there any news about more b-sides? That file that once appeared with 'Zulu' was fake right?

its just b-sides for the record store days singles, hope i not writing something wrong now, and i have heard the 3 live in studio songs from cin deluxe edition also will be able on überlin cd single.

I'm so tempted to download and listen to it now!! The otherside of me is telling me to hold out till I actually get the CD. The songs I've heard just fill me full of hope for the rest of the album. Accelerate was good, but what I've heard of CIN sounds so much better. More harmonies, melodies and more soulful.

My daughter was born last Tuesday, and everytime I hold her - I just want to sing the chorus to "Oh My Heart". It just really matches how I feel.

The songs in this zip sound like they are pitched-shifted to a slightly higher key. Does anyone else notice this?

Yes, absolutely. There seems to be one batch of songs floating around that's a half step higher than the versions that have been released officially.

If you go to a torrent website and search for Collapse Into Now, the bundle that is approx. 94 mb is the one that's pitched improperly. The 42 mb torrent is correct.
