Conor McNichols killed the NME

Ok NOONE reads the NME anymore but its nice to see this muppet who tried to ressurect the "racism" non-story leave the hot seat...maybe it could get good again like in the 80's???

Current sales are 48,000 a week. Hardly NO ONE:rolleyes:
Granted, sales are well down from a decade before..... but give me the title of ONE publication in the music media that has increased during that time.

Conor didnt kill the NME, but the internet and rise in other ways of receiving information from bands did.

The Word magazine:)

Its a shadow of its former self, no? Certainly not producing great journalists as they did before and I would love to see it go back to interesting interviews and breaking new bands. But then I'm older now, so perhaps I am not one to judge?!

With all the 80's revivals going on they should go back to newspaper and aim it at the 30+ market, they could clean up...
