Very Nice Idea

Hmmm looks like a few rarities there, even if 'quality control' has flew out the window!

Why post it? A lot of these are still in print.

I like it, but I'd like it better if it was one huge savefile project...

COOL AS...:)

I'm just trying to contribute to this website. I have downloaded loads and loads and I want to give something back.

I was going to upload to SaveFile but I remembered I uploaded lots before and they all got lost.
Maybe sometime in the future I will upload them there.

You have never heard Ganglord?! Or If You Don't Like Me, Don't Look At Me?! Or A Song From Under The Floorboards?! Or Christian Dior?! Or Good Looking Man About Town!

Eeeeeeeeek! Those should have been on Ringleader of the Tormentors. Those were far better than "On The Streets I Ran" and "The Youngest Was The Most Loved".

Then buy the singles.

Loads and loads of boots and videos.
Best way to contribute is to upload the same.

I mean, I could give the link that has every official Smiths and Morrissey song recorded, but that isn't contributing, well, only to loss of sales.

.

not everyone has the time or resources to gather all these b sides.this is a great upload mainly for newer members like myself.a person doesnt have to download everyone of these tracks.regarding "sales" if the new releases are strong enough the will sell in enough quantity to be a hit....doubt morrissey is bothered about profit at this stage.

Why are you doing this?
It's seems pointless to REAL fans to have someone upload commercial songs that morrissey has put out

RE:A Song From Under The Floorboards
The day Morrissey puts a COVER song on a studio album is the day I begin to question his integrity...

RE:On The Streets I Ran...
After that comment, I now understand how bad I made people feel when I called "All The Lazy Dykes" horrendous and stupid.

The issue is simple.

If you upload commercially available music you're not supporting Moz. It's not kind or respectful or even reasonable.

This section should be for live shows/unreleased songs, not stuff that can be bought. Period.

I don't know why this issue is so fuzzy to people. If you're a real fan, stop uploading his commercial stuff. If you don't care about him or the obvious objections people here have to it, then carry on.

You'll likely be the cause for this section being shut down. Then how will you feel about your contribution?

I have all these tracks but, unlike some people here, I think that it's a good idea... liking Morrissey doesn't mean you have to buy every single he put out 15 years ago. Some minor nitipicking, though:

I Know Very Well How I Got My Name (Viva Hate Sessions)

This was the B-side of Suedehead.

November The Second (Original November Spawned A Monster!)

The original is the one on Bona Drag. This is an unreleased remix.

I don't mind the really old ones so much, even if the two boxed singles collections are still in print.
But I don't like the 2004, and especially the 2006 B-sides on there.
