What will 2016 bring?

He seems to have an album ready to record but seemingly no record company of his desire will offer him the terms he wants.

He'd appear to be the ultimate artist for a Pledge music campaign to self-finance an album but evidently shuns this option.

He's cryptically hinted at not performing further UK shows despite bigger venues being an option there..

..and oddly seems to feel it's pointless to play live with nothing to promote although most artists these days seem to derive their
main income from shows rather than sales.

He's just completed an impressively long run of shows with minimum disruption so..what can we expect/do we want?

Well, dear Morrissey, you could start by conveying some words of respect about your friend Mr David Bowie.I fully appreciate how painful and sensitive it is when a friend passes away, but in life we have to muster strength and courage.Get a grip Morrissey, you are a man of many words so convey a statement and words worthy for Mr David Bowie.

It's the low status that a self-finance album confers upon him that's the problem. He's a multi-millionaire many times over - he doesn't need the fans to bail him out.
He didn't really hint cryptically at not playing any more shows - it was a clear statement, but I think qualified by saying that as long as has no more new material to promote. Fair enough - World Peace is nearly two years old...
