This never made sense to me. Pete loves Morrissey, practically worships Morrissey. He's covered at least 4 of his songs that I'm aware of..."Jeane", "Rubber Ring", "Well I Wonder" and "Everyday is Like Sunday", and his takes his cue on a lyrical phrase in "Down in Albion" straight from "What She Said".
I know Pete has said he wants to knock Morrissey's block off after the infamous meeting in which Morrissey snubbed Pete, but anyone knows why Morrissey feels the way he does?
Certainly he's not preferring Carl Barat over Pete? Nothing against Carl, but Pete was the true poet in the Libertines.
