Moonraker was actually one of the first (maybe 2nd?) James Bond books written...They knew they couldn't do it in the 60's..and then after The Spy Who Loved Me...Star Wars came out and they thought....Why Not?

Moonraker was the 3rd book and is about the Moonraker rocket and a plot to destroy london. So there is little to do with the book except the names of some of the characters....and no Jaws in any the original novels.
