Michael Jackson chose England as his starting point for his comeback tour, Morrissey is English.

Michael Jackson chose London as the starting point for his comeback tour, Morrissey wrote a song called London.

Michael Jackson died on the same day as Farrah Fawcett, Morrissey once sang the words "my force of habit" ... "my force of habit"

Michael Jackson's comeback single was initially going to be titled "Something is squeezing my skull", Morrissey beat him to this*

He may not have touched me in any way but he fact society labled M.Jackson mad and failed to celebrate his eccentricity in any way is a shame and a scandal. Society didn't understand him and didn't want to find out how it could. Obviously the majority of people don't understand Morrissey either for entirely different reasons. Came across this on you tube, I think Morrissey would approve. ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQox9W9jedw

Now if we could just get a website going on this...We could reach at least 10 more people.

An anagram of "Morrissey King of Pop" is...

Performing Is Spooky

I'm getting scared now

Both prone to touching themselves on stage.

Seeing all the programming about Michael Jackson, I don't really recall hearing/seeing Earth Song at the time it came out...but the video included a man about to club a baby seal. Must be the only music video to address that! Kudos to him for that. Equally moving song even though not "cool" as far as Michael Jackson goes - but imagery and a message Moz can appreciate.

An early Jackson 5 hit was ''ABC''.
Morrissey as a kid would go and watch films at the local Stretford ABC Cinema.

Jacko had a solo song called 'Ben'.
Morrissey had a classmate in his junior school called 'Ben'.

Jacko had another hit with 'Rockin Robin'.
Morrissey's favourite character in Batman was Robin, the boy wonder.

Whacko was the King of pop....... Morrissey used to live on Kings Road.

The Smiths were accused of writing a song about child molestation. Jacko was accused of.......

Michael's trade mark was one hand in a glove...... The Smiths first single was 'Hand In Glove'.

Jacko has cancelled 50 dates this year..... Morrissey not as many, but hey, there's still time to go:lbf:

Both MJ and Morrissey would write songs to / about each other and respond accordingly in verse..... for eg:

Jacko sang ''you wanna be starting something'
Morrissey replied with ''I started something......'

The Smiths sang ''What's the world''?
Whacko replied with ''We are the world''
